Why this works:
List – Lists make videos feel more tangible (you know exactly what the video will be about) and they add some curiosity.

“Habits” – Habits is a power word that works often in channels that help people become better at something.

Flop of the Week
Title: Is AI Making The Dating World Harder to Date?
Hook score: -89
Why this flopped: There are two big problems with this title.
The first and biggest problem is that this channel’s audience doesn’t seem to be interested in this topic.
In the last 5 months, this is the only video about AI.
(I do love trying out new topics to try to find new opportunities, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out!)
To avoid this problem, when you’re evaluating potential ideas for your channel one of the best questions to ask yourself is if it has worked on your channel before.
The next problem is that it’s a weak question.
Bold, confident, opinionated statements often work better as YouTube titles than questions.
People are watching this channel to learn, and this question doesn’t really tell me I’m going to learn anything.
Plus, I already know the answer because it’s a leading question and because of the expressions in the thumbnail.
To avoid this problem, write your titles as bold, opinionated statements.
Alright, that wraps up this week’s Creator Hooks!
