Why this works:
Desire – This creator’s audience is into crypto and would love another bull run.
Timeliness – This video was published toward the end of the 2023, so people are starting to think about 2024.
Curiosity – This builds curiosity because it talks about the future.
How you can use this framework: Tell your audience about an event coming up soon and how they can get ready for it today.

Flying Spidey
Title: 100 Hours to realize you can do THIS in Spider Man 2
Framework: (Time Frame) to realize you can do THIS in (Entity)
Hook score: +459
Why this works:
Curiosity – This opens a loop because it makes you want to know what “THIS” is. And the thumbnail is a picture of something about to happen, which adds more curiosity and tension.
Time Frame – This is an example of input bias because this creator putting “100 Hours” into Spider Man 2 to learn this makes us value it more.
How you can use this framework: Tell your audience how you spent a lot of time learning “THIS”.

Framework: Improve Your (Activity) Skills With This Strategy
Hook score: +487
Why this works:
Desire – This creator’s audience wants to improve their reading and listening skills.
Curiosity – This title opens a loop because it makes you wonder what “this strategy” is. The thumbnail builds curiosity because it asks a question.
How you can use this framework: Tell your audience that they can improve a skill they’re trying to get better at with “this strategy”.

- It makes this video feel more tangible (which makes it more interesting).
- It increases your desire to watch it because it’s a complex topic explained in a relatively short time.
Curiosity – The contrast between “all religions” (a complex topic) and “explained in 10 minutes” builds curiosity.
How you can use this framework: Explain a complex topic in a short amount of time.

- All languages explained in 10 minutes
Flop of the Week
Title: How to REALLY Increase Your IELTS, TOEIC & TOEFL Scores
Hook score: -72
Why this flopped: I’m not in this niche, but I feel like this might be a pretty narrow topic.
But in addition to the potentially narrow topic, this title could be better.
The word “REALLY” doesn’t provide any benefit to the audience. Here are a few simple ways they could’ve rewritten this title:
“How to Increase Your IELTS, TOEIC & TOEFL Scores As A Beginner”
“How to Increase Your IELTS, TOEIC & TOEFL Scores In 1 Hour”
“How to Increase Your IELTS, TOEIC & TOEFL Scores Without Spending Hours Practicing”
“How to Increase Your IELTS, TOEIC & TOEFL Scores In 2024”
