So this email will show you 5 videos worth modeling to help you write great titles and save time.

Flop of the Week

every 30 days

Title: The Dollar-by-Dollar Plan to Your First Rental Property

Hook score: -81

Why this flopped: This title is probably not clear enough. What exactly does “Dollar-by-Dollar” mean?

Is it about exactly how much it costs to buy your first rental property? Maybe that’d be a better title:

“Exactly How Much It Costs To Buy Your First Rental Property”

He also dropped a great line in his intro: “If I had to start over today, this is exactly what I’d do, paycheck to paycheck”. That angle would probably make a good title, too:

“How I’d Buy My First Rental Property (If I Had To Start Over)”

Or, since the new year is just around the corner, we could drop “in 2026” in the title:

“How I’d Buy My First Rental Property (In 2026)”

TLDR: if your video fails at first, try a new angle. And always make sure your titles are clear.
