Why this works:

Believability – The fact that this is about their DNA and not just somebody’s opinion makes this feel more believable.

Curiosity – This sparks two questions in the audience’s mind:

  1. What about their DNA is unique?
  2. How does that make them different than other dogs?

How you can use this framework: Tell your audience about the DNA (or some other scientific or official-sounding thing) that makes something in your niche unique.

Believability – Just like the title above, “Psychology” makes this video more believable because it’s psychology- and science-backed.

Desire – This creator’s audience would love to land any job.

Curiosity – This opens a loop and makes you want to know what these 6 principles are.

How you can use this framework: Tell your audience that psychology says they can achieve any big goal once they understand a handful of principles.

Fear – Nobody wants to lose out on thousands of dollars from a hidden rule.

How you can use this framework: Tell your audience about a hidden rule with a big cost that most miss.

Flop of the Week

Title: Most People Will Be Unemployable in 5 Years. Here’s Why.

Hook score: -97

Why this flopped: I see two problems with this title:

First, it’s a little unclear. Why will the people be unemployable? Because they’re entrepreneurs and won’t want to be employed? Or because nobody wants to hire them? I first read it as the second option, but I’m not quite sure.

And here’s a good rule my boss used to always tell me: “If you confuse, you lose.”

It’s the second option (I had to watch the video to make sure), and that brings us to this second problem:

What if I had a channel about how to grow on YouTube and I made a video titled, “Most People’s YouTube Channels Will Be Over in 5 Years. Here’s Why.” Would you watch that?

I don’t know about you, but I probably wouldn’t watch that because that’s not what I’m trying to hear right now. I want tips and hope for a bright future.

So what can we do instead? Here are some titles that have worked well for her channel:

  • “Psychology says you can land any job once you understand these 6 principles” (444K views)
  • “Tell Me About Yourself (Copy This Answer)” (154K views)
  • “5 Signs Your Interview Went Well (From a Former Recruiter)” (40K views”
  • “I Read 10,000 Cover Letters. This One Wins (And it is only 3 sentences)” (31K views)

Looking at these, they’re all benefit-driven and/or tactical.

Taking those as inspiration, here are some other ways we could title this video:

  • “AI is coming for your job. Do this in 2026 to save your career.” (This still uses fear, but also promises helpful tactics.)
  • “Do these 5 things to land your DREAM JOB (even if ai takes over the world)”
  • “How to be better than your coworkers and land any job you want”
