Framework: How ‘(Specific name)’ Became (Place’s) Most Talked-About (Entity)
Hook score: +328
Why this works:
Social Proof – Instead of just saying this is a great sub, this title shows you it’s great by telling you it’s “NYC’s Most Talked-About Italian Sub”.
Desire – This creator’s audience is into delicious subs.
How you can use this framework: Tell your audience about the story of how something they’re interested in became the most talked-about thing.

Fasting Facts
Title: They Studied All Fasting Lengths, This Dropped the Most Fat (12hr, 16hr, 24hr, 36hr)
Framework: They Studied All [Entities], This [Performed best] ([Common options])
Hook score: +402
Why this works:
Authority – This title feels trustworthy because it’s about a study.
Desire – This creator’s audience would love to drop the most fat.
Curiosity – This title opens a loop by not specifying which option dropped the most fat.
This title also grabs the audience’s attention because it drops in all the most common fasting times. It builds more trust that this video will have the answer because they understand all the options.
How you can use this framework: Tell your audience that “they” studied all the potential options to help them achieve a goal, and one did the best.

- They Studied All Work Schedules, This Boosted Productivity the Most (4-day, 5-day, 6-day)

Why this works:
List – Lists make videos feel more tangible (you know exactly what the video will be about), and they add some curiosity.
Epic – The big number 100 makes this video feel epic and valuable.
Specific Audience – By calling out exactly who this video is for “Every Urban Family”, it makes them more likely to watch this video.
Desire – This creator’s audience is into preps.
How you can use this framework: Tell your audience about the top 100 things every one of them should have.

Dressed for Success
Title: Your clothes are literally changing your brain (Here’s the Science)
Framework: Your [Possessions or actions] are literally changing your brain (Here’s the Science)
Hook score: +595
Why this works:
Authority – “(Here’s the Science)” brings some trust to this video.
Curiosity – This builds curiosity two ways:
- People love change and it builds curiosity because, although we know that something changed, we don’t know what changed, so we have to click to find out.
- It’s counterintuitive that your clothes would literally change your brain.
Interest – Everybody is interested in their own brain, which makes this topic so captivating.
How you can use this framework: Tell your audience that something they do or have is unexpectedly changing their brain.

- The music you listen to is literally changing your brain (Here’s the Science)
Reno Regrets
Title: 11 Horrible Home UPGRADES You’ll Regret
Framework: 11 Horrible (Seemingly positive things) You’ll Regret
Hook score: +140,000
Why this works:
List – Lists make videos feel more tangible (you know exactly what the video will be about), and they add some curiosity.
Negativity – Regrets and fear like this do a great job of grabbing people’s attention and interest.
How you can use this framework: Tell your audience about horrible changes they’ll regret.

- 7 Popular Cars You’ll REGRET Buying
Flop of the Week
Title: ICECO APL55: A Great Fridge for Camping and Emergencies!
Hook score: -88
Why this flopped: This type of video is always interesting to title.
Do you start with the product or the benefit? Are you trying to rank in search or get on the home page?
Well, if you’re trying to get on the home page, I’d recommend you lead with the benefit. But what’s interesting is that the video that ranks #1 for the search “ICECO APL55” also leads with the benefit, so either way, you probably want to start with the benefit.
But “A Great Fridge for Camping and Emergencies” isn’t that interesting of a benefit. It’s a little too weak. If I was writing the title for this video, I’d pick the single most interesting or extreme thing about this fridge and focus the title on that. Something like this:
“The BEST Fridge For Camping in 2026 (ICECO APL55)”
Or, we could mix things up a bit and only focus on a benefit or emotion:
“If I Could Only Have One Camping Fridge, It’d Be This…”
“Every Prepper Needs This $1,000 Emergency Fridge”
“This Emergency Fridge Changes Everything About How I Prep”
