Why this works:
Curiosity – This leverages curiosity in two ways:

- It opens a loop and makes you want to know what these Texas suburbs are about.
FOMO – “No One Talks About” not only builds curiosity, but also gives you a bit of FOMO about these suburbs.

Flop of the Week
Title: Why Your Body FEELS 10 Years Older Than It Is (And how to fix it)
Hook score: -98
Why this flopped: I’m not sure of one particular reason this flopped, but here are some ideas:
- Most of the successful videos are about certain exercises, so a title like, “Do These Exercises Every Morning To Stop Feeling Stiff,” might’ve been a better approach.
- It might’ve been more effective and clear to say “Why You’re 40 But FEEL 50 (And how to fix it)”. That states the “feel 10 years older” in more easier-to-read terms. Of course, it also narrows the audience, so that would depend on the channel’s audience whether or not it makes sense to narrow the focus.
- It also might’ve been more effective if the title were more focused on a specific pain, like “Why Your Back Hurts Every Morning (And how to fix it)”.
In summary, know why people watch your channel and deliver on that, and use simple, visual language in your titles.
